Many people tend to think that ‘living one’s purpose’ means simply getting paid doing what you like. This is not exactly true.
Living your Purpose means keep evolving into a greater version of yourself, becoming closer to your Truth, and sharing your power with the world.
We are not purely mundane beings. We represent a union of the physical and the spiritual, and we need to mindfully develop both. And unless we do that, we will be always haunted by strange ‘emptiness within’, as though something very important is missing in your life, but you can’t figure out what it is.
Getting paid well while doing some task you enjoy may be exciting at first, but after a few years, you may notice that what once was fun now feels constraining to the point of suffocating. As time goes by, you may discover that you like that activity less and less, even to the point of resenting your initial decision to devote your life to that activity or that job.
The problem is not in the type of job itself but in the fact that you were using it as a distraction, a salve to somehow fill the void within. But because of how our brain and body function, it’s only a matter of time until the palliative effect wears out and we’re faced with the problem again. And with every new failed attempt of distracting yourself, the pain grows bigger.
The pain and the void within come not from the lack of certain possessions, activities or the social status, but from the inability to connect both parts of your being into one, and the lack of growth.
In simple terms, living your Purpose is not so much about what you DO but who you ARE, and who you are becoming. This is a very important point.
Once you fully realise that you are here on a mission to connect with your Light within and radiate it into the world lifting others up, you will keep feeling like you’re trapped. If you stifle your power instead of sharing it with others, that building pressure will start damaging you from the inside.
Some people eventually awaken and recognise what their true values should be after having driven themselves to the ground and coming to the point of a total breakdown. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
You don’t need to go through hell to realise that’s a place you don’t want to be. You can start learning, growing and transforming your body and your mindset through your own choice, without waiting for your circumstances to become unbearable.
That choice is what allows you to reclaim your power, your renewed sense of masculinity and control over your life. By making that choice, you liberate yourself and become the force for change and a guiding light for others.
We only have a limited amount of time in this world. It’s a good idea to invest it wisely. Begin your quest for Purpose. You’ll never look back.
